Default My really slow LS build (pics)

Allright so i changed my screen name. my old screen name was crxmrdr. had a few nice cars shown on here.

but i finally moved back to ft. myers and bought another crx need more toes to count how many i have had. but i posted a pic of my last one you may have seen.

but i decided to go with the dark side and build a b18a1. but i am going to take my time so my build will be slow. so if anyone has any suggestions they are welcome....

here is a rundown of what i am going to do:
-block bored .30 over
-H beam rods
-wiseco pistons
-typer water/oil pump mabey-->thinking i will stick with stock cause i am staying non-vtec
-crower 403 cams (part# cro-62403-2)
-crower valve train (part# cro-84162)
-P/P by me
-Valves---->?? havent found a set yet,..open to sugestions (OEM??)
-egay cam gears,..probly skunk 2
-Complete oem bearings
-Complete OEM seals from oil pan up
-ARP head bolts/rod bolts/main bolts
-skunk2 mani
-cheap ass headers (turbo soon)
-endyn block posts (why not,...havent had any probs and cheap insurance) or a block gaurd...havent decided yet. not going to crazy so sleeves arent feasable to me. mabey later on

As for the turbo side:
-i am going to custom fit my kit around a gt28. really fond of this turbo. but open to sugestions....

but here are the pics. the block pictured is for sale. it hase a fresh hone, crank and king bearings. i am picking up my new block this weekend hopefully.

the first pics are my 88 crx, mr2t, 87 crx and rsx you guys/gals may recognize from my screen name crxmrdr

wow sounds good stay with blockguard, dont bother with bolts.for sure run a obd2 oil pump does not matter typeR/gsr/b16/ls all the same.i would stick with the stock valves in the head unless runing N20.you will not feel to much kick if your building it for turbo so your keeping low comression but adding a biger lift cam

Well did a little more work on the motor today. i gave her a fresh hone and painted the block aluminum and the valve cover crinkle black. tomarrow i am going to start the p/p on the head.

plus i pulled a few strings and traded some parts for some parts and came home with these today along with a blitz turbo timer.
(please keep your "XSPOWER sucks!" coments to yourself..thank you...and the compressor housing is one cast piece not 2
