I see... Yeah I've replaced acouple of these plugs in my amature career and it sucks to get to!

Easiest way:

1. Find the relay and jump it using a paper clip/ speaker wire! <~ TR meathod!

Correct way:

1. Remove driver side seat (yes you can leave it in but you will either be hurting from bending like a pretzel, or get the seat dirty from your shoes kicking it ~> it gives you a lot more room.)

2. Then wrap duct tape around the end of a long screwdriver (sticky side out-ward!)

3. Then stick the face of the plug onto the duct tape.

4. Push pedal in.

5. Once the "plug is in the hole," slowly release the pedal so it compresses the two together...

It will probably take a couple of tries but its a lot less effort than removing pedals!

I just got finished and basically used this method. Except, he seemed to be talking about the clutch-cruze control release because that one gets compressed when the petal is disengaged. The starter interlock is above the cruze one and compresses when the petal is all the way in. So I had to get under the dash with my taped screwdriver align it with the hole and push the petal with my head until it was at least a bit pressed in, than carefully got up and pressed the petal with my foot and yanked the screwdriver out. Thanks again.
