STR adjustable cam

are they any good dont know much about cam gears....

From the pictures Ive seen they have only three bolts holding the gear in place. With only three there is a greater chance of them slipping which could result in bent valves. I myself have aem another three bolt design I wish I didnt buy them because of that (but hey they were only $50). You might want to try the skunk2s they are six bolt design and cost about $200 for both.

In general the more retaining bolts the better but if you absolutely must have a cam gear with fewer bolts loc-tite em and it should hold well.

Skunk2s.

Funny right as I was reading this my friend was just IMn me about how he alost lost his endyn built ITR motor thanks to some POS aem gears slipping at 9k. Needless to say he is about to order a set of skunk2 or todas.
