Did you ever run your car? Before turbo/after turbo? Another question. How long have you been into Hondas? Because you seem to be an expert when you use the term young grasshopper you have a lot to learn. Im just asking because I never considered you to be a big Honda buff I just figured you were one of those guys that had a lot of money and spent it. Im not trying to be a dick I just think the wolrd would be a better place if people always spoke their mind.

 

I have been into Hondas since 1988. In 1988 my father bought a BRAND NEW 1988 CRX Si. He started with Eibach springs JR Cam and a few other goodies. In 1991 My father moved on to the Talon TSi and I started with the CRX. Since then I have have owned my share of Hondas. I also have had a lowered accord Souped up Prelude and Celica GT-S (when I lived in Japan) a 67 mustang (tried the domestic thing...didnt like it) My own 1991 Talon Tsi and a few other pieces of junk.

I have been into cars much longer. As a child I watched as my dad restore Model Ts and Model As. He is disabled now.

So I guess you can say I have Owned souped up Hondas for about 10 years know (but been in the import scene for 13). Does this make me an expert? NO. But I am well educated. I take time to understand the ins and outs of things.

BTW did you even know that Jackson Racing even made a cam for the 1988 CRX SI? because most people think all they do is superchargers.

Ive only been in this game for about 1 year. I know that seems like nothing but Im only 16 years old. I do however plan on staying with it and I try to learn as much as I can from every opportunity. I wish my car was fast and someday I can get a job (and hold it) to the point that I can have a 12 second RiceRocket.


But just to prove a point I will take my friends vtec controller of his Si and hell show you a 14 whenever your ready. Stock clutch and all. I now he can run a 14 because he hangs almost right next to me and I run a high 13. Not to mention his weight reduction. He has taken his share of things out of his car but they all help. You didnt say anything about weight reduction.


I heard you ran a 16 flat at the track in your si before your turbo. That isnt bad but its not great. I heard people were making fun of your driving skills but everybody has to learn sometime. And I guarantee you could have run it way better with more practice on it. The fact is that all cars are different some Si engines are just hard workers and some are not. I ran a 15.6 in his car the first time I ever drove it in my life. All it had was your old intake and full interior.

it was 15.8 I/H/E. It was my first time on the track and I ran on the 17 C-2s (heavy 3-piece). I only made 3 runs. I had the fastest si there that night. I never went back. The turbo never saw the track.

So I have 3 runs on the 1320. That means I have alot of practicing to do. The track is just soooo far.

here are my timeslips of my times... i couldnt find the one that said 9.77 but here the next best thing: proof that my Si does do 9s in the 1/8 and the fucked up one is the 1/8 after i put on the 18 wheels. u can see that the trap speed was higher than the one in the 9.97 one and was a little faster than the 9.7 one i was talkin about. if someone stares at it that has better eyes than me then u might be able to see the time... i cant. i was pissed cuz it was an AWESOME et.
