I have finally found out what was wrong with my car shaking during breaking and accelleration. The problem was with the upper controll arm bushings. So since I needed to correct the camber on my 91 CRX I figured I would smack down two birds with one stone. So if anyone knows where I can get the kit and intalled on the spot with my bushings for a reasonable price let me know. Plus I am in the market for 4 good drag tires with good tread life for 14 rims. They have to be able to take credit cards.

Progress currently offers their kit front and rear for sale at $180 which isnt too bad a price. Im not too big a fan of their kit nor the ingalls kit what I do like is the K-mac kit which allows you to adjust not just camber but caster as well. If you want a kick ass place to go to Id suggest no other place than Cars & Concepts. John suggested it to me once and Ive never been more happy. Steve is one hell of a great guy and they do some fantastic work. They can be a little pricey though but they back that up with exceptional work. Oh...and they take credit cards.

As for the tape that got turned in sorry i dont have a copy. And you can go see it on bubbas site. My camber is so minute that you need a guage to see it. I just dont want to spend a bunch of money on drag radials if there gonna wear messed up.

Cars & Concepts can be reached/found at:
4711 North Manhattan Avenue Tampa FL 33614
(813) 348-6183 ask for Steve.

Hey mark why the hate for camber kits? I dont see how you could dislike them and I dont see how they could mess up anything unless they are horribly installed or badly adjusted.

VDormCRX if truth be known its actually toe that promotes tire wear. A slight bit of camber wont do that much. On Hondas toe can still be adjusted but for caster or camber youll need a kit. Now if youre doing this for the sake of drag racing then getting rid of the negative camber would be a good idea since youd want more of a contact patch for the tire.

Well now I am confused. My problem is that my car is lowered and it is riding slightly on the inside of the front tires causing uneven wear. Now with that said will cambers be what I need to correct the problem?

Yes camber will promote some inside wear on the tire BUT its the toe that causes the excessive wear. Go get an alignment done. Toe can be changed using alignment gauges but Id recommend just taking it to an alignment shop. Toe is the direction that your tires point if you were to think of them as a vertical plane along the y-axis and its neg/pos values being in relation to the z-axis with x-axix representing 0.

bc having had 1 and seeing so many people having them (admin at superhonda for over a year now) i have seen how much a pain in the ass they are they make ure car rub 10 times more then without a kit and they only saved me about 3K miles on my tires (whoopie) but suck for any1 dropped over 1.5.
