The car isnt ran on 400hp daily. It is run at 15 PSI until fun time then they bump the boost to 28PSI and let her rip. Its all on his website and I plan on contacting him for some more info.

sick

my friend David here in Rockledge wanted to do the same setup to his CRX when he found a 90 AWD Wagonvan that he basically picked up for free. He also runs a d16z6 engine on turbo. His new build isn't fully tested yet and I can't wait to see the numbers on the dyno and the track.

It's a lot of fab work and one day he may just go for it. He had questioned the rear transfer case, I'll have to show them the results from this.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

i just dont understand why someone has stuck a beefier rear setup with a custom axel setup to run more hp, or even (gasp) RWD setup on one.

Then it would just be a question of the transmission and tq issues

Im not 100% positive but I think the transfer case is powered by the front Cv's So if you were to lose them you lose the RT-RWD also. So basically it would take 100x more custom fab work and in the end probably not be worth the extra hassle over having a RT-AWD or actual full-time by losing the viscous coupler, and going solid axle. But then your testing the limitations of the stock rear end meant for only slight power fluctuations and not a full-time strain. But I am almost positive someone has done it before, I mean shit someone has made a fully FR H22 powered civic hatch.
