Default Header question...

I hate to have to ask another question like this but since I can't find what I want...does anyone know of a company that makes a decent 4-2-1 header with a 2.5" collector? I have found 2.5" collectors on 4-1 headers but I am afraid that running a 4-1 on a b20 setup with 7k redline wont benefit me as much as running a 4-2-1 design. Anyone have any dyno results of like the same nonvtec motor running a 4-2-1 and then running a 4-1 so I can see how high the powerband is shifted? Any help will deff. be repped!

What is your budget, do you need to keep a/c?

Don't need to keep ac because I don't have it lol...that motor is a b20 in a 1990 EF hatch...currently have a b18a1 that had a pos airmass header on it. Budget is like 300-400...The header doesn't have to be the greatest and I really don't feel like paying 600 for a hytech (or like 800 whatever they sell for)...I seen a hytech replica for 400 but I'm not sure if I want to notch the crossmember like the guy said I would have to do.

I was actually thinking of getting one of those megan 4-1 headers (since there already 2.5") or even the 4-2-1 and cutting off the collector and rewelding a 2.5" on there.

Does anyone think that a 4-1 design wouldn't show as good of a gain as a 4-2-1 considering my redline would be 7k? I'm afraid that if I go with the 4-1 design that the top end wont make up for the bottom end loss because I will not be able to rev as high as lets say a b16 or such.

I'm running a one piece greddy 4-2-1 header and I love it! A bit pricey but I love it!

So they do make one piece 4-2-1 headers? I seen a dnx header that was pictured as a 4-2-1 one piece but everyone called it a 4-1 header so I was a little confused. I think I am going to call parts america and see what they say it is since dnx doesn't have a telephone number...I'm still drooling over the hytech knockoff though because it looks damn promising! Also, I tried to give you rep renegade but it wont let me right now.
