WAY too much oil pressure PLZ HELP!!

Default WAY too much oil pressure PLZ HELP!!

My car would normally run around 85. now out of the blue it shoots to well over 100, at dle. Ive already changed gauges. i was told it might be the oil pressure relief valve, but i would like a second opinion! thanks for any help put forth!

could be that.....or there could be something blocking oil passages.....say like teflon tape or rvt....check the easy stuff first though

could be a bad oil pressure sensor or a blocked passage

i myself block the pressure valve : o )but they might be right cause when i block them it runs about 85-95 but you could also have a something wrong with oilfilter or passage

Did you change your oil recently? I had the same issue then i changed to 5w-30 i use to run 10w-40.Maybe this helps.

i think its time to get rid of the car in my own opinion. i got a 91 K ready EF calling your name.
