best tool for removal is a pipe wrench. You can even save the threads if you are careful.

explane please?i was just form honda they heat theres up and pull it from the inside like with a dent puller,but 99.8% here said just use viseGrips after heating and then quickly put the oilfilter back on and wiggle it out with force
