how do i get my tensioner pulley off my 99 accord,
i get the wrench on in and i puch as hard as i can and since its a tensioner it just absorbs everything that i push and the bolt dosent move.

i need it off because the bearings went out and froze the whole pulley up.
i got a ner pulley with new bearings and a new belt.

Knowing nothing about your engine; not having a pic of that side of your engine,

With some engines you have to pull the crank pulley, remove the plastic
belt cover and undo the bolt that controls the tension and a second bolt that holds the pivot for the tensioner. There is also a spring on some engines, that if removed first, makes the other 2 bolts come out easier.

If you want someone to look at it, get back to me. I have all the tools,
and can show you what needs to be done.

try to push it all the way one way and then lock it in place with a crow bar so it wont move back and then try it i did that with my alt belt and it seemed to work worth a try....

 

i seen no way to pry a crow bar in there to keep it from m oving

 

okay without pics its hard to tell what will work
