ok so i sold my civic to my sister and she doesnt know anything about cars and she tried to start it and it would start. she put a gallon of oil in it and didnt even check to see how much it needed. it was so over filled and started smoking like crazy. what should i do to help her? just drain some oil out or what? she only drove it around the corner probally not more than a mile

 

i did it once drained it the refilled it to factory specs and my car was fine i has a 93 ex

 

yup...just drain and refill
