how to take out my alternator in my EF

You might try undoing the upper ball joint on Driver side, and dropping down the axle enough to pull the alt out above it.-Bob

i jacked it up on the drivers side and tried that but again no luck, the axle barely moves.

i was kidding about the notching of the crossmember but i believe i had to notch it n e ways for the rear motor mount to clear and bolt up. so its weakened ne ways

thanks bro ... for now this crx is my only means of transportation due to my mustang being in the shop. so im stuck and need to fix this P.O.S.

SHIT IS HALF APART ALREADY AS OF LAST NIGHT... sry 4 the caps.
but im in limbo now that i hear of this master cylinder take out way to do it. also im in limbo bc i have no garage and the rain is delaying me
