please help cant figure out
ok sorry for the thread jack. been having my aftermaket guage read 210 on these hot days, it reads less on cool nights so i know its working. i installed a slim fan to work with my oem fan. at times it still reaches the 210 mark. so guess thats ok and not to worry too much although i don't like to see it there.
not to totally thread jack, but look into a spoon or mugen thermostat and or fan switch. i will do this if temps stay like this. the fan switch makes the fan come on earlier than oem to cool and keep temps low. the thermostat opens earlier than oem units to keep temps cooler.

may be a stupid question but you would be suprised how many people dont have it is it coolant in your radiator or all water? it makes a difference and is it doing it only under boost?

actually thats a very good question. straight water will boil at 180*...in an engine straight water will actually boil at a little bit higher temp because it is under pressure, but not much. i usually do a 30/70 mix since it never gets freezing but maybe 6-7 hours a year. lol

I use Pro Blend's 40 Below. And Sneakin Deacon is right. Max you want to run is 220*. Most of the time you will see 205* - 215*

what i had to do to fix the overheating problem on my honda hatch was i had to get the biggest radiator i could find. I ended up fiinding one out a Mack truck. I had to do extensive modification to make it fiT. But it worked.
