Seriously, bore out the holes, forget that it is a T4 vs. T3, divided housing at that.......big turbo on a small engine that doesn't rev high enough.??????????? Killing me.

I wish I could afford a PT67.. Especially a ball bearing one, like a PT67RLH... That would be pretty nice... Maybe one day I will be a baller

derka- it's all good man, i was more asking then arguing. i thought i was either going crazy, or had some really good...food! lol

60-1ek- i'm not sure if you were telling me to do it or that i am stupid for thinking about it... if rev's are a big problem, will the conversion to ls-vtec make it more rev happy? or make it rev higher/safer? and it's not that small of a motor... it's a 2.0!

insane- i know me too, so i wouldn't have to ask questions like this... lol all help and bumps have been repped!

how high isn't high enough?
i would assume that if his power goals are in the 650 range, then he's gonna have to do some bottom end work anyway. so by the time you forge it and balance it, 8-9 grand (if not more) isn't that outlandish.

as for the whole v-tec swap... you're gonna flow about [ -- ] that much better... once you boost and all that fun stuff, the v-tec is just gonna make the car easier to drive... after a port and polish, the two heads basically flow the same...

if you're looking for 650 hp, then you're gonna have to have a bigger turbo and you're gonna have to build the car up to the turbo. you're not gonna be able to boost the stock block and expect it to make the power and to last.
you've got the turbo, might as well use it. then later down the road, when you've got more money and need to go even faster, then buy a "better" turbo. I'm not gonna lie, some turbos are better than others, some are better for a particular set up than others, but they still all do the same thing...

you're way off on that one man. you can take a fully built, ported and polished ls head and it will barely outflow a stock b-series vtec head. then once you boost it, "its alot easier to blow air through a large tube then it is thru a straw". even thoe you're forcing air into the cylinders, if the head can only allow x amount of air in, thats all thats going in.
