Default New Car.new Problems.help!!!!!!!

i just bought a 1992 stock civic dx. yeah yeah its automatic and has a slow azz d15.. but anyway.. i just bought new spark plugs and new wires..

the car at a stop (not all the time but sometimes) will start jerking and idle will drop and it even shuts off at times.. and when i have the lights and a/c on it does this alot.. wat should i do??



sorry.. i put b15 instead of d15..

make sure wires or on good and not loose or it could be your super rare b15 motor.

if you alredy change plugs and wires check tap and rotor
if you done that check for fuel filter
try to clean Throttle Body
or a vacum lose

it might be an 02 sensor.... does your check engine light ever come on?

why don't u just do something fairly cheap and make sure the idle is set properly.

With some cars it's a combination of temperature and vacuum
that control the idle. and with some cars it varies..............-Bob

could be many things, iacv malfunction, tps, o2 sensor, maybe even your alternator going bad. start testing with a meter. good luck

good lookin out guys.. but wat is a vacuum? where is that at in the car? and ima go ahead and change fuel filter, the thermostat and some other lil stuff and see where im at.. thanks alot

take it somewhere, all the money you are spending on replacing parts is gonna catch up to you, when you can spend that money on a real diagnostic, save yourself the headache and drop it off to someone who knows what they are doing.
