call the manufacturer of the parts you are looking to install . they designed it so they know what it can take .

some say to leave the lines on the rack and run a reservoir to contain fluid , but ive gone 5 years on a pwr steering rack with the lines removed and no problems.

i removed the lines completly off the rack and everything out of the car . takes 5 minutes . once you remove the lines though , SLOWLY turn the wheel to remove the fluid in the rack... or you'll have fluid shooting all over the place if you go fast.

its basically the same engine , but with 1.5l and slightly higher compression . it has 5 more hp and a shorter stroke . same bore size for both engines. nothing special about them , but make for a decent replacement if your looking for a stock swap in your car for cheap.

I put in a zex stage 2 cam with valve springs with a stock bottoem end... it makes power all the way to 8k, and handles it quite well
