how long does race gas last?
As for me saying I know more than you, who the fuck are you, The Car God. Is your mind a plethura of all knowledge when it comes to cars ? I hope not because in this matter you are wrong. Hes a frikkin engineer ding dong, he knows what hes talking about, as well as do a few others on here. He gave you the prime example of why racegas will NOT make more power on a car that is tuned for PUMP. if your ignition table is set up for 15 degrees of timing @14psi on pump. then that is NOT enough timing at the same boost level on C16. C16 burns at a slower rate and reduces detonation, thats is damn job!
its the same as running an NGK#10 in a stock car, it will idle and run like ass because the plug is so cold it doesnt ignite at the proper heat rate to set off a strong combustion......BUT it will at 30psi of boost.
Actions are louder than words, 60-1ek has put his words into actions via not only his own car but many, many others in the tampa area,north florida,Georgia, alabama, and so on. what have you done, proof is in the pudding and im hungry.
NOW lets address the DSM issue, while looking at the totally badass palm logger software most DSMs runs such as DSMlink, you tune for counts of knock, if you guys dont see knock, you turn up the boost. if you see knock you add racegas and turn the boost up some more. its the age old answer to lack of power in a DSM.....turning that knob to the right on the boost controler
nevermind tuning the thing or spending some money on something that can be tuned. but we honda guys dont tune for knock as our knock sensors will alert us 3 days after our motor have blown upand if youre wondering what i do, i tune cars as well. i have the only AWD dyno for 500 miles so yeah i do ALL the DSMs around here, everything from a 531 AWHP eclipse(on an FP-RED, which is one of the highest) down to a 275 16g powered FWD, I do 4g63 starion conversions as well as 4g63 miarge/cyborg swaps

you are correct, ecus do SENSE timing but they will not add, they will reduce. a DSM does not have Ivtec.

As for the job...wrong.....what I do in the civilian world has nothing to do with what I did in the army. If I even told you a self sequence you tell me I forgot to check the flux capcitor.....
I just lost faith in all shops around here. No one ever said that I was running a logger, or dsmlink.....Vtec has nothing to with it. Vtec is also controlled by the ECU................

you more than likely do need me to tune your DSM, my shop is no where near tampa. never said an FP red was big, its a piece of shit old compressor wheel stuffed into an extrude honed modofied mitsubishi exahust housing, WHY? cause most DSM owners are such cheap bastards and wont replace thier "poorly flowing" hogged out 2G exhaust manifold.
ever wonder why a 16G will make more power on a 1.6 sohc honda than it will on a 4g63 2.0?
