Default Q: K series swap....

1: How much boost can the stock K20a2 handle?

2: If I have a K24 bottom end and a K20a2 head Which wiring harniess do I use or does the K20a2 harniess work with the k24 bottom?

1) We are tuning an a2 today that is set for 20psi of boost on stock sleeves. If fuel is there we could see in excess of 425whp. Others have made over 500whp with stock sleeves, but as usual, the longevity is decreased.

2) bottom end does not matter which harness, just need to use the crank position sensor off the K20.

A lot depends on which k24 bottom you have. Accord and crv rods are not as strong as tsx. TSX bottoms have been handing 400 hp plus a bit more.

Why leave the top end stock if you put so much time and $$$ in the bottom end. You don't have to go crazy on the top end 'cause you are forcing air into the motor unlike the N/A application that needs to drawl air into the cylinders.
