my maintenance required light is coming on the dash. i noticed it this morning. before it would flash but then i goes off after 5 flashes. any help would be much apreciated. i have checked all plugs and fluids under hood also.

its just a reminder to do maintnece on your car, mostly for non-mechanically inclined people.... Theres a reset button under the steering wheel, you just have to press it and the light goes away

 

reset button. looked dont have one> pulled off the steering column cover and still no button. i have done maintenance to the car and it comes on now, i dont know hondas at all/ sooooo thanks for the help

 

its not on the steering column ... its lower ..kind of where the fuse box is .. but on the opposite side .. its kind of where your right leg goes .. i dont drive an acura but im pretty sure thats where it is

 

found it someone moved it behind my center console. thanks for the help

 

now lets hope it doesnt come back on

 

the maintenance light comes on at set mileage intervals. resetting it will only make it go away for a while. i leave mine on cuz.. well, i'm lazy.
