Default Good Tires?

Been out of the scene for a while. Just got a car again. Tires are crappy and almost bald Falken Azenis...What are some of the better tires out now? Need something that gets good traction in dry and pretty good in rain and has decent wear...Nothing I am going to get like 10k miles or les out of...

i've had good luck and good wear with Falken Ziex's. edgeracing.com has good prices and are located in Miami so you get your tires in a day or two.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I have a ecsta ast...I like them but they are a bit soft and do wear a little quicker than the falkens in my opinion. I got my 215-50-15s for 320 mounted and balanced so they aren't too expensive.
