Exclamation turbo a b18b1

i want to drop a honed b18b1 motor in my 95 eg coupe, but i want to boost it, i have read in other forums that a ls boosted at 14 pounds will bring me to 300 whp, my question is, is it safe to boost stock just honed at 14 pounds or should i just run 9 to 10 pounds until i get internals like titanium valve retainers and such.
also, what all would i need to turbo the ls?
-turbo mani
-piping
-intercooler
-bov
-boost controler
what else besides a proper presise tune?
thanks for the help

yea running a stock b18b1 with turbo you will have some problems in the long haul. turbo needs a low compression motor. cuz my boy has a b18b1 stock with turbo and just last nite he blew all piston rings from gettin on it. so its not a good idea to leave it stock. and he is running 8psi of boost and peaks at 10psi. so now he is going to take it out and get build it from the bottom up.

Or your boys engine was already tired and it couldn't handle boost. As long as your engine is healthy you should be fine but avoid going past 10 lbs.
