how exactly is the launch control activate?

It just rev's to whatever RPM you have it programmed to therefore = Launch Control
what do you mean? be more specific.

well i know it works at the set rshared_pm but, does it activate with the switch under the clutch when you hold it down?

Depends on what engine management you using & who set it up

Correct me if im wrong...but isn't it activated when the vehicle speed is 0 mph? How is the set up different from a chipped ecu vs a standalone vs a piggy back?

Like I said, it depends on how it is setup in the software you are using.

I wonder if I could use my cruise control switch to activate it since street and strip need 2 totally different setups. I love watching street tuned launch at the strip, hello bog! I've been relying on good ole foot and eye control.
