Your running 17" wheels, If you tires are 205/40/17" or more narrow........You should be able to get a full 2.75" drop before you start rubbing.
If you have a camber kit in the back, Then you'll maybe only get 2.25 before the fender starts cutting into your tire when there are people or other types of heavy weight in the back of the car.

It's pretty much trial and error.
Drop the car as low as you want it, Test drive it, If something scrapes....Raise it back up 1/2"....Etc........

what he said. Drop it down and if its too low then do a nice roll to the fenders. Problem solved!

take a pole of some sort put it between the fender and the tire, drive back and forth with the pole at a slop so it pushes the lip of the fender up. ghetto way of doing it but it works as its free rather than renting a fender roller.

Yeah, But won't that create dimples in the fender if not enough fender gap?
Sounds risky......?

thats ghetto as hell, i wouldnt do that.. surely it would messs up paint and stuff too. if its coil overs just go as low as you want, and work from there.. i have slammed my old civic on its nuts and never rubbed, although it wasnt on 17's.. just remember, the lower you go, the more fucked up your front end is going to get.
