is it like a grindy/low pitched whiny?

i had a input shaft bearing go out on a Y8 i had, fixed it myself.

my guess is that if u are hearing rattling/knocking, you have a blown bearing set, and there are ball bearings bouncing around ur trans. like i said, it happened to me....

haha its ok dude

yeah the sound is kinda grindy not when i shift but when im driving... annoying... so u think it might be the input shaft bearing?

<--- not mechanically inclined, how much do you think that would run me?

I had the same thing happen. Was the main main bearing in the tranny. Get ahold of Neal Sutton for a rebuild. He is fair in pricing and trustworthy to deal with.

His name on here is Cxcivic
Here is his number NS RACING (813)842-5517

Good luck

If the noise goes away when clutch is in, it's the input bearing.
