i have a single cam vtec engine (92~95 EG) in my eg.
and i have a newer tranny (2000 ex single cam vtec manual EK) tranny
would it fit on that older engine perfectly with EG extension ord and shift rod?
i had done the swap but due to the cheap after market short shifter lever..i can find 5th gear and i have to tear it apart and swap back the OEM shift lever back on tomorrow night...
swap shift lever is easy but just need to make sure eninge and newer tranny are compitable..
anyone has this swap done before ?thanks..

 

Tranny should work just fine... is the linkage bent???
