so i just got this turbo teg from some one on tr, it was running fine for the first week,no problems. when i got the car it was smoking just a little bit from a crack in the down pipe. but the other day i pulled up in my drive way and the car started smoking like crazy. it filled the whole inside of the car. i got out to see if it had caught on fire, it didnt. so i dont know why the car is smoking so bad i am scared to drive it. does any one have any ides of what it could be or what needs to be done to HELP!!!!!!!

well holy shit take it back first off. what color is the smoke? Black im assuming.

 

lol...Do you have a system, the amp power wire will sometimes short out if not installed correctly...it will burn the wire all the way down to the trunk. So if you do check your system wires.

 

maybe you got so high you forgot you were hotboxing????

 

hahahaha i iwsh i had got to high that wouldnt be a problem, but no systeam the car is gutted. its not black smoke. its blu eish like the car is burning oil.

 

The seal in the turbo could have gone out. That will let oil get into your down pipe and cook, making lots and lots of smoke. Take the intake off the turbo and see if there is any play ot oil.

 

thats what i was thinking but this my first turbo car so i am not sure. i will go check that now. say that is it, how do you fix it and do you know how much?
