ok well that feed back dosnt help at all. i have bought 9 cars off tr and only 2 have sucked,

 

Sounds like your turbo seals are shot or your motor is hurt (ringland/blowby).
Take the car to a shop & have it inspected.

 

+2, those were my thoughts exactly. The vehicle came from vero beach originally and the owner traded TR's bigest car whore for your black civic.

Take the downpipe off and look in the turbo housing, if there is oil everywhere then you have your source. Time for a new turbo or a rebuild.

 

Like I said, it's your seal. Take the turbo off and find someone that can re-build it, or just get another turbo. Most re-build are around $250.00, sometimes more.

I was told there is a guy out here in Zephryhills that does this but I can't find him.

Look for BIGSTEVE on here he knows some people.

 

i pulled off the down pipe today and there is no oil in the turbo,so i dont think it is the turbo seal. what compression should the car be running?

 

There does not have to be traces of oil in your downpipe for your oil seals to be leaking.

I have seen several cars with bad turbo seals show no signs of leakage.

Perform a leakdown & compression test on the motor.

 

well now the car has stoppped smoking. when i first put it back together it was smoking. then i waited about 20 mins and started her back up and now she is only smoking a tad bit. so now i am just confused.

o yea and does any one have a compression tester that i could use?

 

Go to Auto Zone and you can use theres.

Does the car run bad?

 

no the car runs great.
