Default Gsr Clutch Help

My clutch is making a whining noise only when taking off when the car is not warmed up. Is this the clutch. When its warm it grabs, this is an annoying problem and id like to fix it. lmk what it could be. Thanks.

sounds to me like it might not be the clutch, but more of an input shaft bearing issue. would require the tranny to be pulled and torn down. replace the bearing. not an overly huge job, but a PITA none the less. bring it by and ill listen to it if you want

i had an input shaft bearing go in my Y8 trans, cept mine just made a whining noise while engine decelerated... but that would be my first guess.

are u saying it doesnt grab when cold? have u check for a rear main oil leak/tranny input shaft leak? if there was fluid/oil on there, it would make sense that you need to burn it off to get a solid grab...

It grabs all the time but when i first start up and take off, it sounds like the clutch wines until letting all the way off. once driving for 5 mins it wont do it.
