RIP Tim. i miss you, buddy
im gonna have to agree. ive seen places out of state charging 1800 if you pull your engine. then do the wall and interior and brakes. you just drop your engine back in. and i see clips w/ engines for 2200 so 4200 is to much. ive i go thru w/ this ill be swapping it myself. i got a friend w/ a shop and with plenty of fabrications skills so swapping the wall for him will not be a issue. that was the only part i didnt feel confident doing
4200 is a bit steep, but i do realize the labor factor. the conversion takes quite sometime, and when you have to pay someone for all the work they do. it does come out to be a large sum of money/hours.
i wouldn't try it yourself unless you have time and the know-how, you might find out that you've bitten off more than you can chew.
