is there a difference between a b16 tranny from a 92 and a 99?

88-91 is cable I believe. I had a 2000 s4c loved it! mmmm short gears

incorrect! ^^^

And the answer to your question is NO except the transmission code.
The '92 b16 should have a code of y21 and the '99 should have a code of s4c.
