a/c belt on ls/b18

Default a/c belt on ls/b18

new to my acura well hondas for that matter. got a question i want to know how i get the a/c to crank belt off. i got it off the pulleys but there is like a bracket that runs from the a/c compressor across to the frame. does that come off?? lmk. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

Yes. It is a front motor mount. You need to remove the 2 bolts that connect it to the frame and then slip the belt around it. Vise-Versa for installation.

u need to remove the 2 14mm bolts thats hold the lower mount to the frame. then you need 2 loosen the upper driverside mount so the motor lowers an inch or 2, then youll be able to slip the belt around the lower mount
