paint codes

Default paint codes

ok so i went to macco to get a estimate and what not and the guy shows me a paint job that i really like the color of. but when i checked the internet for the color it is saying its a color for the honda ridgeline and some other cars. well the code is honda b92p. and the color i seen was a black and from a distance it was blue and up close u could see the blue just a little bit he told me it was called honda nighthawk black. is he correct? thanks in advance

Integra Color Codes - Team Integra

came on 2000 and 2001 type-r's, 2001 ls and gsrs, and 2002 and 2003 rsxs.

i dont really know what else it came on......and i forgot what the difference is between that and the "Flamenco Black Pearl", i think its kinda similar, does anyone know?

I'll have to save that link for future usage.

If I remember correctly, Flamenco Black Pearl has Red Metal Flake in it and Nighthawk has Blue Flake.

i was thinking they were more similar.......like blue and a different color blue flake or something .....my gsr has granada black pearl which has gold and red flakes in it. oh well!

If you get your car painted at Macco make sure you

1)Wet sand the car thoroughly with 600 grit wet sand paper gettign out all shinyness

2)mask off anything you want to stay black.. such as factory grills, side skirts, mirrors, anything like that... if you have hte time it is best to remove all headlights/tailights/door handles (if you wanna leave htem black or whatnot), markerlights, mirrors, anything like that because when macco tapes things off which they rarely do it will leave a tape line in the paint and it won't look good. Always do prep work yourself for a macco paint job because they don't do it.

yeah im doing all the body work my self b/c they want to much money for them to do it. and he said that when they change the color on a car the take the lights door panels weather strip and what not all off b4 they paint it. also does anyone know if that spray shit that eats the paint off the car is any good b/c theres some parts that i ahve to take to bare meatal and was wondering whats the easiest way?

and no i dont work at the sushi restraunt i live in tnc
