How do you figure that?? people have made ALOT more than 240whp on stock b16s I recenly just did STOCK b16 race gas 20lbs that made 400whp sae on a pieced together kit did another STOCK lsvtec race gas 22lbs made 509whp sae. Turbo by far will make more power than SC, SCs like jackson are just air driers they are garbage. If you want to go 12's turbo all the way.

well..i figure this cuz he wants something thats reliable..a dd..now..use ur b16 on race gas..which i dont see dd's normally doin..and see how long it last...if u read everything i said its more for HIM..on his motor..and 10lbs on his motor would be about 240whp give or take a few..on either sc or turbo..if he wants..yea u can turbo it and run 50psi..on that stock motor..and good luck to u..but for a reliable daily driver..thats idiotic..i said either way will be about the same on 10lbs...which with 93oct..that would be around 240..also i said..i would go turbo..bcuz he wont meet his goals safely..nor will be be able to upgrade much on a sc...plz read carefully before u try n prove a point..

240whp is safe on a stock b16 once you go higher than that the reliability of the car goes down and you can start breaking parts.

I have run many different turbo b-series setups @ over 250whp. Most have lasted 1+ years.

im just givin a safe zone. thats all..im not sayin im 100% correct .. i said 240 give or take a few...and most?...1 yr?...thats not very impressive honestly..im just tryin to give this guy a area to run his car without worryin to much..i mean say hes the one time(since most have made it some havent) that 250whp..is to much..and he blows it..now hes out a motor..im just givin my opinion..go turbo..push about 10psi..until u can build a forged bottom end..thats all...no one can say there is a 100% guarantee on anything cuz thats NEVER the case..just cuz one motor can do something doesnt mean the next will..anyway goodluck on the build..try to be smart about this..dont push the motor to far stock..get the extra hp now..but build up something for later to push more hp with more reliability....and this is my opinion only!
