Cost of 5spd Tranny swap???
I have someone that wants to trade an Integra for one of my cars. The car is nice, but is a 94 ls auto. I am trying to figure out what the cost of this complete tranny swap would be. Sorry for the ignorance, but I have not messed with these much.
i dont know what all ud need..maybe search for what u need other then tranny shift linkage and shifter..to see..im sure it cant be much more .. and im also sure u could find most parts at a junkyard..
the search button is your friend
.
but yea I wanted to do this to the exact same car about 2 months ago and I got prices ranging from 800 to 3100.just be prepared to spend alot if you want it done right.

depends on what tranny you want.
you will need:
-transmission w/ fork & throwout bearing $200-$1500 (cable LS to new ITR)
-pedal assembly ($100 ish from a junkyard)
-clutch master cylinder, fluid resevoir, lines, slave cylinder ($75 for all used, up to $250ish all new)
-linkage ($20-100)
-ECU (OBD1 P75 $40)
-flywheel ($25 used to $300ish new)
-clutch ($25 used to $300ish new)
-3 qt. OEM MTF or synchro max/mesh/wtf ($30)
these are all the extremes, for the most part. i think thats all the parts you will need.... obviously, you will want to change the tranny fuild seals unless you know the trans is in great shape, and i would suggest new OEM clutch fluid components, unless you know they are in good shape.
do the math, and it can be as cheap as $300-400, or as much as a couple grand depending on what you want.
ive actually seen people selling all the parts for a swap, less the tranny itself on here, so keep an eye out.
you might also want to call eddy at Ace autoparts in tampa, ive heard he gets TR guys good quality parts for decent prices.
good luck.

the rear mount & the passenger side top mount is differant. I did this same exact conversion on my 94 ls. Here is what it cost me.
LS 5 speed hydro, brand new clutch, new throw out bearing, starter, flywheel, & all the bolts. 661.00 Found it on e bay.
Shift linkage with short shifter. 45 from orlando forums .com
pedal assembaly, clutch master cylinder & Part of the lines 51 or 52 LKQ Clearwater
slave cylinder 30 advance auto parts.
I made a brackett for the passenger side mount.. Free
I also worked the rear mount..... Free
total 788 & I did all the labor...
You can run the stock ecu but it will throw a check engine light.
Also you have to make sure that you keep the white slider peice that tells the car what gear you are in. If you keep it in park your cool BUT no cruse controll if you put it in gear you cant take the keys out of the ignition untill you put it back in park. Their is a way to rewire that switch but, I forgot & Im going to find out bc Im getting ready to finally finish that. LMK if you have any problems or questions. honda swap . com can be your friend...
