ok i believe i have a s1 b16 tranny..i know its b16 just not positive if its s1 or not..anyway..i was told a very good tranny for a lot of hp is the b17 gsr tranny..im currently buildin a turbo poor mans type r with 350whp in mind..and id want a tranny that could go up to about 140mph..so..basically what do u guys think would be best..if need be..tell me what gears in a tranny...etc..or any info that could help..thanks..cable tranny only...

 

the b17a tranny is very similar(gearing wise) to your s1 b16a. The b17a is a 92+ gearset meaning that it uses the same insides as all hydro trannys. your s1 uses the same insides as all pre92 b-series trannys.

 

so id be better off gettin the b17 if possible..
