if its dual point youre gonna have to keep that harness and make it multi point and since its a vtec head and most likely gonna want vtec to work you'd probably be going with a vtec ecu like pr3 or a jumper harnes and a p28 ecu but i dont know if it will run right with the pr3

dont bother with a block guard unless you are gettin crazy compression or boosting. the D-series sleeves will hold a pretty decent amount of power...

as for head gaskets and studs, im under the impression that you are supposed to get the studs to match the head... and you will def want a Z6 head gasket.

i know the PR3 is the del Sol ECU, which is B16A DOHC VTEC, isnt the P28 also DOHC VTEC? i dont know how either of these will work with a SOHC, ive never looked into it.

your best bet is to find a Z6 ECU, but i dont know the code for those...

good luck, and like eluzzionz said, just keep searching.

Iam planning on running about 12 psi...so i wouldnt need a block guard to run that daily??

oh, so you are going forged internals and everything? wow....

dont take this the wrong way, but have you considered getting a B16/18/20 or something that you can get better gains from? dont get me wrong, i had 4 built D16s before i got my B18, but i love it, and wish i had done it sooner...

anyway, you will have to talk to some tuners about the block guard, ive never used em. ive heard that D16 sleeves will hold up around 350 whp, but like i said, its just hearsay.

sorry i couldnt help more, and GL

i dont think ud need one..12psi..shouldnt make more then mid 200s?...and i dont think ud need one..honda sleeves are strong..people just think they are weak cuz they leave stock rods in the bottom end..they snap..and shoot through the sleeve..just use forged rods and pistons..u should be just fine with a good tune
