Valve cover gasket question
Hey guys, to some of the more hands on guys, this may seem like a dumb question but Im going to ask first before I go out and do this. Right now I have what looks like oil coming out from where the valve cover meets the head. Also there seems to be oil coming out from under the distributor? Would that just be the valve cover gasket also or something else? By the way, the motor is a 94 LS.

+1 all the seals you are talking about are easy to change.
do you have all three 'feet' on your distributor, or are they all hacked off? (hacked off ones tend to leak all the time)
valve cover gasket is easy to change, just make sure you get some hondabond/gasket maker in the corners over the cam caps. they will leak there if its unsealed.

Do I have to take out the distributor to change the cam seal there? While I am at it, I should probably change the other cam seal right? Also, yes, all three "feet" are on the distributor, and you can only see the oil directly under it on the bottom.

There is an o-ring on the distributor that tends to leak. Its easy to change. You do have to pull the dizzy

Ok the problem is that I just got done doing the valve cover gasket change (used black rtv gasket sealer). Can I take off the valve cover again without having to buy a new gasket? Also, I don't know how to mark the timing or reset with timing gun. Can anybody point me in the right direction with maybe a "How-to" or something? I really am afraid of starving my motor of oil, which is what killed my last block (oil pickup was clogged), so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the help so far!
