Default 255L pump

I installed the pump on my EF, i just have a question about how loud it should be you can hear the pump from a good 100 feet away. Its working great but damn that thing is loud. is that normal?

i love my full interior, i mean the car is slow its not like i will gain anything by taking it out.

it an also make it lounder if its not secured properly....i dunnno abut yer car but i had one in my eg and rubber piece fell off and it was loud as shit.....put a new rubber on it and it was alot quieter......still gonna be way louder than stock though.

is your pump internal or external? if external i could see where it would be even louder.

its External. i mounted it on the bottom of the car right next to the fuel tank. everything is tight its just you can hear the pump doing its thing. but i didnt think it was goign to be that loud lol

I picked up my in tank 255 walbro 6 years ago for $50 new.Why did you go external?
