to be honest i got it for such a good deal and after dealing with taking the stupid pump out of the tank i really didnt want to do that again.

You need to isolate the pump. Install some rubber behind the pump in between the chassis. Also, a 255 pump should not really be loud from 100 feet. My pump...Aeromotive Eliminator is audible from that range, but a 255 is tiny compared to that.

damn i was just thinking about wrapping some dynomat around it to be honest. on the clamp itself it has rubber plus the pump comes with a foam wrap. its not vibrating off my chassis its the noise is coming from the pump.
