Question CRX will not run after hitting bump on US19

Hello,
1989 CRX HF - b16a motor
I hit this bump/patch doing 45-50 MPH and my car shut off, so I tried to put it in back in gear to try restarting put it did start. I just let it coast into a gas station then tried to restart it and now it seem as if it's not turning the hole motor, but when you look at the timming belt it's turning the cams and crank. Question should the timming belt always be tight no play in it?

Thank you for your time

If pictures help let me know

My number is 727-235-1642 Joe

im sure pics would help..u might want to check electrical..make sure nothin came unplugged..and maybe be more detailed on what exactly the car is doin or not doin..( i recall an instance where a harness under the dash was very loose and sometimes the car would like loose power then pop back on..then i pushed it in all the way where it clipped and never had that problem again)

I checked starter good, checked to see if I get spark good, checked ECU good no LED flashing only when I turn the key it will flash real quick then go off, I can hear the fuel pump prime, no check engine light. When I try and start the car it just keeps turning the engine over. Question if it jumped timing could it be giving me this same problem?

Thank you for your time and ideas

I checked the fuses also and they all look to be good( checked with light tester) . What is the best way to make sure gas is getting into the engine. I can hear the fuel pump prime

do you have your battery relocated. the bump may have caused a slight dis-connect then re-connect. check your ecu fuse in your under the dash fuse box it is a blue 15 amp fuse that says ecu. good luck.

well, if the fuel pump primes, you have gas. you obviously have oxygen...only one thing is needed.

spark.

check to see if you have spark.

is there any physical damage under the engine? dented oil pan, mashed exhaust pipe, squished fuel line, etc? whats this like a pavement ridge (whole car bumped up) or a high manhole cover (just hit the oil pan/header)?

I checked under the car no leaks or damage. What I hit was a patch in the road not a manhole. My tires took the hit not my engine but then again my engine is not running now. I check one of my fuel injector for voltage and I'm getting power when I turn the car on. If I get spark and I can hear the fuel pump prime, power to injector and starter is turning over the engine I guess timing is off? I have a friend coming over to take a look at it today I hope. If you have any other idea's let me know. Thank you all for your help
