oil leakage

Default oil leakage

i have a 94 gsr and i have a oil leak problem. i fix the leak that was coming from the valve cover. but it is also leaking from the block. i hear that it could be the cam seal. do i have to replace the cam seal or is it coming from a different area. help

it would be easier for you to wipe the leak areas clean... and wait a day or two to locate the leak... it could be comming from many places.

i did clean the area but couldn't find the leak

That's what I did. Buy two cans of Gunk and go pressure wash your engine bay. Wait a few days and then see where the mess is coming from. My guess is that you're going to need a new head gasket.

If it is coming from some where it is probably 1 of 3 things usually. U already did the valve cover. So I would say either head gasket or cam seal. You need to do as they said & clean it real good & find the source first. Cam seal is cheap & easy haed gasket gets a little more pricy & time consuming.

over filling will push out oilk everywhere check pcv, if it clicks when u shake it, its still good , but my trick to stoppin leaks is to sand the gasket a little makin shure theres no oil on gasket and givin it a little ruff surface..
