type r oil pump on a b16a block?

Default type r oil pump on a b16a block?

i was wondering if a type r oil pump and water pump will fit on a B16a block?

all B-series vtec oil pumps are the same, and I think tyhe waterpumps are to but dont quote me on that....BTW if u are buying them thinkin its a mod for your car your wrong and u would save yourself some money if u buy them for the B16(same thing)

also the b20crv has the same pump as a type r im pretty sure

the water pumps are differnt number of gears on them i think but they will all bolt up the same. the vtec ones are a little more efficent but you wont overheat with a nonvtec unless ur pushing super high compression and producing serious heat

so a type r oil pump isnt any better than a b16 oil pump? Cause im getting ready to buy one but i dont want to spend money on something thats the same as what i already have.

OBD1 motors used different pumps, but OBD2 motors all use the same pumps

can be.... can be obd1 or obd2 also... depends on the year...
