spits and sputers

Default spits and sputers

ok i just got the car and if my foot is not in it it spits and sputers and if i let off and put my foot in it again it stops but when im trying to crusie at lke 2k rpm it does it i have to let off and put foot in it again and it stops

spark plugs and wires?????

...what? change the plugs and wires first and see from there. And try to explain a little more i'm a little confused.

spark or fuel problem.... check plugs and wires... check fuel filter...
also, is it throwing any codes?

engine light is comming on when it starts spitting and sputtering
how do i check codes? sorry never had a honda

take your car to autozone.... they do a free engine check
but i would say its ur oxygen sensor but get it checked 2 be 100% sure

i dont have a oxygen sensor on exhause i dont even have a plug to plug it in to the ecu

? what model do you have, the car should have an oxygen temp... and yes u can bypass it, i know of a method to do it... but you would need to locate the wires going to the ecu from the oxygen sensor
