integra problems

Default integra problems

i have a 95 integra gsr that was just freshly rebuilt. the motor starts but it boggs out and dies and the rpm gauge bounces everywhere. engine light doesnt turn on and i dont know whats wrong. if anyone has an idea of what it could be let me know

check all vacuum lines for leaks, check gaskets for leaks. Mine was a leak between the throttle body and manifold.

ill check the gaskets and lines thanx. it couldnt be anything with the wiring could it?

Could be some sensor wires crossed, but highly doubt that.

Say it with me V.S.S. = Vehicle Speed Sensor.....nothing to do with RPM.

To the original poster, there could be a million things wrong with it. What else did you change....injectors, ecu, etc?

is there a ground for the transmission that hooks in to all the other sensor wiring because thats what i heard from someone else? and i didnt change nething all i did was rebuild the bottom block and put it together

my friend just swapped to a b20 and had a similar problem, all it was, as a bad spark plug.. check that and wires.. could be that simple.. that or it may also be vaccuum lines.. or bad sensor..
