i need help!!

okay so today i took out my transmission.. Which took about 3-4 hours... lol and now this guy tells me that there could be something wrong with my newer tranny that i just bought.. ok Well my question is.. How do u know if a tranny is good or not??? Is their anyway to determine this? I bought a b16 cable tranny from a guy on TR like a few months ago too.. So he could of screwed me over and Gave me a bad tranny. but he told me theres no grinds or anything...

well i sold a b16 hydro tranny on here a coupe months ago but i clearly stated it had a bad diff in it...so i dunno...tryin spinning the main gear it should spin free if its good i believe...not really a tranmission guy

You have nothing to lose at this point by taking off an inspection cover and looking inside to see if something is not as it should be.

The other alternative is to install it, to see if it has a fatal flaw,
and then uninstall it, if it does.

All things considered, which would be the lesser pain?
