ls vtec with 12.18 comp ratio to high for a 55 shot on a dry kit for all stock fuel..it would be tuned of course..but is that pretty much a recipe for disaster or should it b alright with a proper tune? i need info asap so i dont sell the kit if it can work properly..i bought it thinkin my comp was somewhere around 11.3-4..b18a block ls rods p30 pistons jdm b16 head..saw someone else on here say it was 12.18-.19? and looked at that calculator thingy on a site for honda set ups and sure enough said it was 12.18/.19..so now im rethinkin the nos..thanks in advance
If you do spray it go with a wet kit. Dry kits are nothing but trouble. Also, with the right tune anything can be done!

and nitrous works better under high compression motors is what i've heard, anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong, i was going to go for a build exactly like this lmk how it works out for you

nitrous works pretty much the same on any motor, the comp. ratio basiclly limits how much nitrous you can use...if your gonna spray that set-up i would highly recomend using a wet-kit with a window switch or atleast a WOT switch....and a GOOD tune....i sprayed a 120shot on my 11.5:1 LS....

i would atleast address your fuel system before i sprayed on that high of a compression.
thats just me though, i like doing things right/safe the 1st time.

normally i would agree, but granted i wasnt as high of comp. but almost being 11.5:1 i ran a 120 shot with a 100% stock fuel system...if he were to use the dry kit id atleast get an AFPR and turn the fuel up a bit...
i would still run a AFPR and atleast upgrade the fuel pump.
