Default Valve size question

Hey guys, I am building my b18A1 head up for my swap... I am ordering an omni power valvetrain, the question I need answered is should I get +1mm oversized valves or +.05 oversized. I heard from a reliable source that if I go +1mm it weakens my head and cause it to crack between the valves. Is this true?

If I go .05mm i can use my stock valve seats right? and will it be safer than going +1mm? and is it worth only going +.05mm, with enough work done to my motor will this benefit me at all? Any info on this will help.

After I decide whether to go +1mm or +.05mm, I need to know what kind of work my head will need, like what all needs to be done, where it can be done at and about how much will it run me.

Any info that can help is very appreciated.

I would save the money and put it towards a Vtec head. but the time you buy the valves and have the machine work done to the head for the larger valves it would be about the same price as a vtec head . Even with the oversized valves the Vtec head would outflow the b18a head.

ha, well guys i thought about that too but with the amount of power i plan on putting out... a vtec head would make very very minimal difference if any in power.

either way, i am tryin to be a bit different and not go vtec, and also when you have a b18a1 head and a vtec head both completely built up to the top, there isnt much of a difference in hp... unless some has the air flow specs of both heads totally built up to show me that the vtec would outflow a b18a even with oversized valves and a p&p and 5 degree valve angle job
