Default b16 block + ls crank and rods= 1.8?????

correct me if i am wrong but if i were to put the ls rods and crank in a b16 block it would make it a 1.8 right? with the rods(with arp rod bolts) and crank and itr pistons would this motor be better than a ls/vtec?
i havt to rebuild my motor soon and wanted to know wich has more potential(all motor) any input is appreciated. thanks

the problem wiht lS crank and rods in a b16 is that you have to run special pistons....but when done it is the same as a LS vtec, just less noticeable (sneakyness).

a CTR block though they fit right in since the deck height is taller.

Would the difference in deck height matter at all?

yes, the fact that a "normal" B series piston would stick out the block way to much and would hit the head. Now a custom piston w/ a lower pin height or what ever will sit lower and BAM you got a LS/vtec in a B16 casing
