b16 block + ls crank and rods= 1.8?????

crank has to big of a strok it will not even work in a b16 block,without lot of modifing of the crank balancers alot!!!!

No. Like Cold_Beer said you would need custom pistons. B16a sleeved block at 84mm, LS crank, LS forged rods, custom forged piston and boost

so their wouldnt really be any real benefit from puttin all that stuff in a b16 opposed to just using an ls block?

+ ls does not have the oil squirters so that A big +.That way you can get that high rev SAFELY.I personaly think it would be alot of grinding of things like the oil squirter/rod bolts so the rods will clear just like the ls strocked GSR's.might be alittle work but i would love to see a motor like this..

how do you figure oil squirter are a BIG PLUS?.....they are not that necessary IMO...BUT some people think differently, to each his own.

Oil squirters = Drag on the motor , less HP .


If it's a drag car it doesn't need it .. If your Endurance racing , sure
