so today i took out my vafc thinking there were maybe some loose connections somewhere throwing something off. everything is wired back correctly without the vafc now, and i also changed the fuel filter, and adjusted my throttle, because that was sticking.

i am still running rich, and the car doesnt drive any better. i need help!!!

ok so i just went and reset my ecu by taking the battery off. i hooked it back up, and let the car idle for a min. i checked my codes again, and now all the codes im throwin are 14, and 10 which are the iacv and iat still. my idle jumps up and down when the car idles, so ill bet the iacv and iat are messing up the fuel mixture, and thats why i smell gas, and my car runs like crap. its givin it too much gas.

You Have Your Iacv And Iat Plugs Mixed Up ,those Are The Only Two Sensors With The Two Prongplug So Switch Them Around And That Should Do It ,if Not Tou Said There Is Wining ,eexplain

woohoo i just got it running! iacv had the wrong connector. i called honda this morning and found out the wire colors. so now i have the throttle adjusted pretty well, and the idle adjusted pretty good. the motor runs awesome other than i still have the iat code, and the wining.

as for the wining, i believe it to be a belt a little too loose. alternator belt seems to be just a bit loose. i will tighten that up in the morning. (pwr steering and alt. belts are brand new, so that could also be part of it).

other than that im happy that i got it running, and will keep the thread updated about the wining.
